Cheats have been updated on the GBAtemp database, including codes for Pokémon Black 2 (J) and Pokémon White 2 (J).

Excuse me but I installed the file but when I turn on my DS no cheats are avaliable, is there something I did wrong?

Nevermind, I just changed the file's name to 'user.evoCheats' and it worked perfectly.

I'll rename the file here so that when it's downloaded it has the correct name already.

ok heres the problem with this cheat when u want the key items some of them does not work for pokemon black and white 2. The dnalink pin is to make kuyrem and reshiram or zekrom combine but u have to get the original one if u use the cheat have all items it says something in japanese and it wont let me combine thats the problem but its a very good cheat maybe u can add event cheat or something maybe something like that

because some pokemon can change form but u need a certain item and that have all items cheat work but the key items does not work, (need reflecting mirror to change forms) :(

It sounds like you're requesting another cheat code as the ones in this download don't work exactly how you want them to.

For that, I'd suggest requesting it on the GBATemp Cheat Forums, as that is where we retrieve the cheat file from (we simply re-host the CycloDS file on here for the convenience of our users).

Hey ginger guy,

Scroll up to the top of the page and click on "Direct download from CycloDS Revolution". This should download a file named "user.evoCheats" to your computer.

Move this file to the "CycloDS" directory on your microSD card (do not delete default.evoCheats … that should stay there as well).

Then start up your CycloDS and it should take effect. If there are cheats for Pokemon SS, Platinum and Pearl in the pack, they'll appear when you start the games up.

Let us know if you need any more help :)

i know this has nothing to do with the cheats but is there another firmware update for the cyclods my one is on 2.3 is there a 2.4 yet because i have this game but it keeps freezing :(

Sorry, but 2.3 is still the most recent. Team Cyclops has not released an update for a while now.

It might be possible for you to patch your game manually to get it working on the CycloDS, but that depends on which card you have (Evolution or iEvolution) and which game you are trying to get working.

Most of the time we pull cheats from GBATemp, but occasionally they also come from other sources. As soon as one of those sources updates, we'll have an update here.

Or I might compile a quick pack myself.

Yes, that would be awesome. I think I saw some cheat codes sitting around someplace, so it's just a matter of finding them again and putting them into an evoCheats file.

You should have two in your CycloDS folder:

  • default.evoCheats - Included with each firmware update
  • user.evoCheats - Your own cheat file (e.g. downloaded from here)

You should have both of those.

If you have two of your own files, you need to choose just one of them and name it "user.evoCheats".

Thanks but i ment i have default vheats and user evo but when i download the pkm black cheats it says user evo (2) do i just put it in the same place? If so wil i have 3 files for cheats

Delete the old user.evoCheats (or move it off the card and onto your computer in case you need it later).

Then rename the one with (2) in the name to be 'user.evoCheats' instead.

You should only end up with two cheat files. One named default.evoCheats, and one named user.evoCheats.

Most of the cheat packs we post here come from the GBATemp Cheat Database (including this one).

Last I checked, some codes were already posted on the forums so it's possible that you could add them yourself using the Evolution Tools software from Team Cyclops (including an evoCheats cheat pack editor).

Look at it this way: Compared to other expansions (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum) Black 2 and White 2 are unique enough that I'm sure almost anyone will be able to justify buying them (particularly if you finished the original Black or White a while ago and are looking for a new start).

If you're fresh off the completion of the original Black or White, it might be worth waiting a couple of months before you try their sequels. That way you'll enjoy it a bit more.

Hello I have Pokemon White Version 2 (U) AP Patched and when I go to see cheats it says that there are non for this game but i was able to find some for the other game i have Heart Gold please reply with a fix.

If you are looking for cheats for HeartGold (U), you can find them in one of our previous cheat packs. Try this one: Cheat Update: 28 November 2010
