CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.10 STABLE
Release date: 9th June 2007
Changes include:
- Enabled the cheat code functionality
- Resolved several compatibility issues
- Fixed download play with Yoshi Touch & Go
- Minor improvements to the user interface
Since this release contains some important feature additions and fixes, we strongly recommend that anybody who has received a CycloDS Evolution containing an earlier firmware version upgrade to this latest release. Further CycloDS Evolution related downloads and information such as the users manual, additional skins and a special version of Moonshell will be added soon.
Since the installation manual will not be online for another few hours, here is a brief usage guide for the people who want to experiment immediately:
Game List
The game list can be navigated using both the keypad and touch screen. You can switch between file and rom view by pressing X or tapping in the upper right of the touch screen.
Enhanced Mode
This enables the ingame menu, from where you can adjust the LCD brightness, toggle slow motion and perform an ingame reset. Enhanced mode is disabled by default and must be enabled from the settings menu. Once enabled, press L + R + A + B + X + Y simultaneously during game play to bring up the ingame menu.
Cheat Codes
An up-to-date cheat code database is bundled with the updater and stored onboard your CycloDS Evolution, so you do not need to manually copy anything to your MicroSD cart to start enjoying cheats. Cheat codes are disabled by default and made be enabled from the settings menu. When cheat codes are enabled, each time you launch a game CycloDS Evolution scans the database to see if there are any cheats for that game. If some cheats are found, you are prompted if you would like to use codes for the game. If you select yes you will be brought to the cheat selection interface where you are presented with a list of cheats. Once again, the list can be navigated using both the keypad and touch screen. A toggles a code on/off or opens/closes a folder. X clears all selected codes. START launches the game with your selected cheats activated.
Unfortunately in the current release, user created cheat codes are not supported. We will be adding this feature in the near future.
Homebrew
Because homebrew applications are DLDI patched on the fly, there is no need to patch them manually beforehand. Just copy to your MicroSD card and execute from the game list.
Autoboot
Hold L + R while loading CycloDS Evolution to execute the last game or homebrew application used.

CycloDS Revolution strongly recommends that you post bug reports on the Team Cyclops forums. If the anti-spam system says that your email address is banned, you should try using your ISP's email address instead of a freely available one like Gmail or Hotmail.

Yes, you can downgrade the firmware however HW v1.1 CycloDSs won't go below 1.3.
Included page "signature:gariscus" does not exist (create it now)
