CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.58 STABLE
Release date: 23 March 2010
CycloDS Evolution Firmware v1.58 has been released. Changes in this release include:
- Fixed Wii connectivity with recent Pokemon games
- Fix for file time stamp issue
- Fix for "argv" information passed to homebrew software
- Fixed save size for 4323, 45684323 - Style Boutique (E)
4568 - Style Savvy (U) - Game compatibility fixes (DSi 0040, 4356, 4747, 4748, 4769DSi 0040 - Sonic Classic Collection (U)
4356 - Summon Night X - Tears Crown (J)
4747 - Pokémon: HeartGold (U)
4748 - Pokémon: SoulSilver (U)
4769 - WarioWare D.I.Y (U))
Unfortunately Team Cyclops is currently having some server issues on the main website at cyclopsds.com, so they can only announce this release on the forums. They will post the release on the main website as soon as possible.

CycloDS Revolution strongly recommends that you post bug reports on the Team Cyclops forums. If the anti-spam system says that your email address is banned, you should try using your ISP's email address instead of a freely available one like Gmail or Hotmail.

hahaha. i get fustrated with spriting in games, very time-consuming. i do try to come up with something classc :D

Two more days and Pokemon is released in Australia ;-) I'm going to head down to a small store I know tomorrow morning and see if I can get it a day early… doubt they'll budge though. And if they do they'll probably charge me to the hilt!

cool beans. i'm kinda curious what exactly Team Cyclops had to bypass in order for HG/SS and D.I.Y. to work.

For Pokemon HG/SS, the games already worked on previous firmwares. 1.58 beta 2 and above (incl. this stable release) just made the game run smoother on the CycloDS as there were problems with it freezing so often that it was almost unplayable. Apparently the games run perfectly now.
All I am hoping for is that the games run just as smooth for the Aussie version of the game ;-)

I didn't realise I was so eager to play HG/SS. Strangely enough, tomorrow seems to far away… when in the past I've been content to wait 3-4 months or more after a Pokemon game is released, to play it.

i want to know why it's coming out so fast after the us. usually we have to wait, as you said, 3-4 months before it comes out. I'M SO EXCITED!! sorry :D
