Description
The official CycloDS Evolution cheat code editor. Evolution Tools is able to edit *.evoCheat files, can be used to trim your NDS files, and will make NDS game icons visible to your operating system.
EvoTools will only work on a Windows PC, and icons in windows explorer currently only work with 32-bit systems.

This homebrew has only been verified to work in DS mode. It may not be compatible with the newer DSi mode.

Any idea on how to get this to show the icons with windows 7 32bit?

I heard that the icons don't work with 64-bit… but it should be fine with 32-bit. I've got Windows 7 so I'll try installing it now and see if I can get them working — will post here again in a few minutes with my results :)
Edit: Installing with default settings will add icons for files with the "sav" extension, but doesn't affect ones with the "nds" extension. I'll try something else…
Edit 2: Nope, can't get icons to show up for any of my games.
Edit 3: Okay, apparently it does work with the 32-bit version. See this thread over at GBATemp.

The update feature in the cheat editor? Someone at Codejunkies inputted an ID incorrectly so we can't really do anything about it really…

No, not that I know of. The editor freezes and cheats won't update right because of the wrong CodeJunkies code. I recommend either keep searching for an editor that runs on Linux so you can manage the codes or use the updated cheat files posted by Gariscus.

mcafee virusscan plus says its a troyan horse when i extract the .zip file. some1 plz help…

Yes, it's a false positive. This file is taken directly from Team Cyclops' website and is perfectly safe to use.
If you want you can download it directly from the official website here: http://www.cyclopsds.com/cgi-bin/cyclods/engine.pl?page=support (look for the link at the bottom of the page titled "Evolution Tools v1.0 BETA2"). But that will probably come up with a false positive in your Anti-virus software as well.

i know but it says, mcafee virrusscan plus automaticly deleted a troyan horse from your computer it says the troyan is called: Generic.dx. it says it deleted it from the location where i saved the evotools.zip

I'm sure it's safe. If you don't want to risk it you can just not use it… but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any alternatives out there at the moment - there is only this, official program.
It's not required to install cheats, so you can easily just download cheat packs from this page and put them in your CycloDS folder. EvoTools is only needed if you want to add/remove cheats from a pack.
