File Manager is a homebrew application enabling you to manage all the files and directories on your homebrew card (R4 etc). It also allows you send/receive files from other DS's running filemanager. Plus you can download files directly from your PC to your DS via your home wifi (no more swapping SD cards)
Summary of File Manager functions:
- Navigate & List Files/Directories on DS
- Delete File/Directory
- Rename File/Directory
- Create Directory
- Move File
- Receive File from PC via WiFi (with/without WEP support)
- Send/Receive file from DS to another DS via NiFi
- Display Freespace on DS
- Help screens (Press/hold SELECT key)
- Multi Homebrew card support (by changing Root directory)
- Configure WiFi & WEP setup
- Save configuration

This homebrew has only been verified to work in DS mode. It may not be compatible with the newer DSi mode.

Hi,
I'm the author. I suggest you update to 0.6 (which includes WEP support). Also refer to the website www.greenacorn.co.uk where the files are originally hosted with some more information. This homebrew was developed on the R4/R4i but does work on other hb carts. The PC program for the PC to DS transfer was written for XP & Ubuntu. I have published the source files for these 2 progs in case the execs don't work on your platforms (vista/7 etc)…

The .nds file works, I'm trying it now. All these options confuse me though.
What's WiFi AP, WEP Mode and WEP KeyID?
Fascinating program though. Sounds quite useful.

That's something to do with wireless network security. What security mode do you use on your home network (or wherever you access WiFi from)?

Don't quite remember, think it's WEP. I've configured it through the games that use WiFi, so it works fine.
Quite confused about what these options do.
