Assuming your referring to the black/ white version, as thats the one with this problem <_<
Its claimed that its a false positive, personally…i question that, as this isn't one of the "this program is acting suspiciously" antivirus problems, but a "its in the database as a known virus" one. I actually have to run it in a vm, as even whitelisting it doesn't let it run.
This program in general does this, not just the one uploaded here.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's not a false because initially I downloaded it and then told every thing to let it run despite warning as I have run across several programs similar to it in the past but unfortunately since the day I downloaded it I have had several email accounts and messengers hacked.

perhaps it's just me but it's the only thing I've voluntarily downloaded in the last six months that my protection has responded to. and even longer since any account hacking has happened.

I can't find the Black/White version on http://www.projectpokemon.org/pokesav/ or the official website, so I've dropped it from Revolution for now.

I will test the Black/White version myself sometime later this week when I'm not as busy, as I have White version now.

i believe it's just a hacked pokesav for b/w however

Hey. I downloaded the Heart Gold/Soul Silver version and the application won't fit in my screen. The application window is larger (top to bottom) than my screen. Is there a way to fix this??

download the compact version as the pokesav website says to do… if there is one.

Edit: i've used the w/b pokesav and it never came up as a virus on my pc, using SEP.

If I understand you correctly, your next step is to add the cheat code to a user.evoCheats file and to put it into your CycloDS folder (on the microSD card).

Do either of these help?

yeah i have made it into a user.evocheat and i do have another cheat the one from this website but when i make the pokesav cheat and save it as a user.evocheat i tried putting it in the place where my other cheat is and that didnt work so i deleted the other cheat hoping that would work and when i tried to use it, it said no cheats found and i did the whole y open the new interface but it isnt workin please help :(

Okay, to get basic cheats working again:

Backup your config.xml file and any skins/themes you have installed
Delete the CycloDS folder
Boot the CycloDS in your console, and it will re-create the CycloDS folder
Plug microSD back into computer and add your config.xml / skins back again

And to install a cheat pack

Do not delete or rename the default.evoCheats file — leave it there!
Add your edited file (with the Pokesav code) to the CycloDS folder, named as user.evoCheats
You should have your file (user.evoCheats) and a completely unmodified default.evoCheats in the CycloDS folder
It should be working now?

yeah i name it pokemon black.evocheat and it wouldent work is it because i name it because i made another one named .evocheat but it didnt work either and im not sure what to do sorry for all the trouble i am causing but i just wanna add my cheat :(

No problem, better to ask more questions and get it working than to just give up on it.

You should end up with two files in the CycloDS folder: "default.evoCheats" and "user.evoCheats" (the case might be important - capital "C"). The one that you added your cheats to is the "user.evoCheats" one.

So rename your "pokemon-black.evoCheats" file to be "user.evoCheats" instead and that might work.

Otherwise, can you take a screenshot of your CycloDS folder and upload it here? (you can add an attachment to your post)

Hmm, actually I've got a question for you - when you created this cheat using Pokesav, what was the file called? Re-reading your post, I suspect that you're not using an evoCheats file after all… so I'd have to give you different instructions.

I uploaded the newset B/W pokesav before and even took the screenshots for it. Though it doesn't matter because Pokesav'd pokemon are detectable by online services.

They can't detect that it was made in pokesav, just whether or not its legit (even then it misses a few things)

As a rough guideline the following will reject a pokemon from online:
Having moves it can't normally learn
Having a found location/ type it can't actually have, like a legendary hatching from an egg.
Having more then 510 total evs, and more then 255 per stat.
Having 3 or more identical ivs, more aggressively targets at ivs of all 31s.
Probably a few other things, but that more or less covers it.

And lilwranga, don't bother generating cheats if your using a flash card. Just copy your .sav file to your computer, load your .sav file into pokesav, make the changes you want, hit save. Take the modified .sav file and put it back on your flash card overwriting the old one. Just be sure to have a backup of the file in case something goes wrong.

The SID I do believe is now the part that can get screwed up and creating a pokemon from scratch will often result in a pokemon that is seen as not legitimate. Pokegen is better for editing pokemon.

eh, creating a pokemon from scratch was always a bad idea. Its the reason I went to so much effort to complete the dex in platinum, so I always had a base to work with.

Anyways, throw up a link to pokegen, I could never actually find a current version in the brief time I looked for it.

The URL that was there before doesn't seem to help much either - the PokeSav page was deleted from there.

I'll just remove the URL and leave it blank for now, until a working one can be found.

Hmm… as they are not actually the PokeSav program itself it's probably better to put it elsewhere (not in the list of available versions).
