Description (from creator asiekierka)

WireWorld DS is a Nintendo DS version of a cellular automation under the same name.

So far it has:

  • basic WireWorld implemented
  • editor builtin
  • clear/clear electrons
  • settings, some more settings!
  • a title screen
  • scrolling.

Well, it's my first DS homebrew utility.

About WireWorld

WireWorld has 4 states:

  • space - represented by black
  • wire - represented by gold
  • spark - represented by red
  • tail - represented by blue

Spark changes to tail.
Tail changes to wire.
Wire changes to spark if it's surrounded by 1 or 2 sparks.

Even with so simple rules, it's able to implement many stuff in it, even a computer! (Don't try it at home, kids)

"At first, this completely shocked me. Then I found a neat picture of a bunny and posted it at the top of the article. Hello there, bunny!"

We already had a page for Wireworld so I moved everything here, including your comment.

why are you using bit.ly?

Because any URL with a question mark or other strange character in it isn't working properly (it doesn't get turned into a link, but stays as plain text). Because of the way bit.ly works, you still see the real URL when you arrive at the website, so that info isn't lost + it can easily be changed back to a non-bit.ly link when things are working as they should.
