Fantastic skin! I've got to try it out on my CycloDS, but from the preview… that looks awesome :)

What image editor are you using? Photoshop, Paint.NET, … ?

Used photoshop, the only complicated part was figuring out how to make the buttons with a transparent background, but i figured it out. That and making sure the background image wasn't too bright or too dark.

Yeah, transparency is definitely one of the harder things to learn with these skins. I assume you know about the new GUI that is due for beta testing in about a week… that might solve that problem if support for gif's is included.

I've posted a reply to the thread you created about signing up to the TC forums. When you are able to post over there, a really easy way to post the image would be:

For any other skins you make, it's exactly the same… just change the page name skin:rys:nature to the appropriate name.

I haven't heard about the new GUI, but the inclusion of animated gif's would be neat (i could have the background scroll left to right and stuff)
Yeah i read the reply, thanks, I'll most likely post it on the forums later tonight.

The inclusion of animated gif's isn't definite, it's just a possible feature. Not much is known about it yet, and we won't find out more until a beta release is posted. Read the thread here: http://bit.ly/d5UqEU

Just realised I wasn't clear in my post… what I was hoping for was transparency support (which .png and I think .gif both allow?) instead of having to set a transparent colour. Animated .gif's would be sweet as well, though ;-)

ah well i don't mind too much about the transparent colour, as i was able to get around that by overlaying the images giving the buttons an "implied" transparent background.

But yeah transparency values would be a nice addition with .gif or .pngs

but yeah animations!
