No offense intended, but going by just your description I wasn't 100% sure how it works… it sounded like a single NDS file that could be used immediately for all event Pokemon. Didn't realise that it had to be patched with the specific Pokemon beforehand.

I haven't played much Pokemon for a while, and when I do it's probably just to use the Pokewalker on HeartGold (therefore not even getting into the actual game). When I do pick it up again though this'll be really useful.

So I'm assuming that includes HeartGold / SoulSilver? Great!

How do you get it to the DS? Do you need an R4/i card to do it? Can I use an Emulator?

Hello person that won't tell us their name… ;-)
You will need a copy of a Pokemon game - e.g. dumped from a cartridge you own. It should be a .nds file - then, download an event/wonder card from a site such as serebii.net
WCDPatcher runs on your PC and allows you to basically plug the event card into your game. You put in your .nds file and the wonder card, and it gives you a modified .nds file to use.
You can use it in a flashcard, yes… such as the CycloDS Evolution, for example (one of the most feature-packed flashcards available for NDS… but with a higher price tag as well due to this).
An emulator on your PC might work - but I don't know for sure. You'd have to try it. If you do, please let us know here if it worked for you!

I agree that a Youtube vid would help a lot in the explanation of this and how to use it. Although it doesn't sound at all like what I was searching for. I think this is for legit real Pokemon events that you missed rather than hosting your own local or wifi event, which is what I was looking for. If anyone knows a way to do that plz advise or share links to where I can learn how.

if you guys don't already know you can purchase an app on the ios app store that lets you create custom pokemon and receive them on your ds through global trade station, if you have the money for it, there are also in-app purchases that let you buy presets of event pokemon, everything on the pokemon is the same including ev's and iv's and trainer name/id. hope i saved you all a bunch of trouble, the app is called poke builder btw.. if you need help at all email me @ moc.liamg|tratshserf.soig#moc.liamg|tratshserf.soig

i got the inapp purchases for free since my ipod is jailbroken, all i paid for was the app but from what i bought it also has events for black and white, which i don't own, i used the app to regain some pokemon that my little brother had after i deleted his game save, i wanted to play the game and i moved away from my parent's place and im alone now so i bought a ds and asked if they could send me all the games i had and some that he owned since he got a ps3 and didn't play ds anymore so yeah that's for anyone wondering why a 16 year old is still playing pokemon, reliving my childhood, and it get's lonely so why not?

So i have been searching around for a few days now and finally found something that might interest a few of the pokemon fans on here. After going to one or two of the wifi events and thinking how cool it was to get these pokemon in a completely legit manner, i looked online at all the ones i missed and was annoyed. Now i know i could get a bunch of them through Cheats, as well as using pokesav, but for some reason it still wasn't the same. Then i stumbled across the greatest thing ever. it is actually a copy of the distribution cart given by Nintendo to the various vendors that distribute the pokemon. Having this allows you to use your Ds as a wireless acces point to distribute completely legit event pokemon. you can even send japanese event pokemon to a US game! Now if you want to use it for your own pokemon game you'll need two ds's to run it because you can't receive them off the same ds that is broadcasting. I guess im more in awe about the ingenuity of it then anything. but one perk to this method is you can get them on a commercial cartridge without having to alter any save files or put any cheats on it or anything.
