The Highlighting is a little too wide

It only seems to happen on browsers that use the webkit engine (Chrome and Safari), but not on any others. For example, in Firefox it looks fine.

I've noticed it for a while, but not sure how to fix it. I don't think it can be fixed :(

Have asked the Wikidot community for help - a CSS guru from there might have some suggestions.

maybe you can change the theme of the my account menu because on different wikidot websites it doesent show up

Yes that's what I'm hoping the Wikidot community can help me with - some CSS that will give the same appearance in all browsers.
