Replacing ROMS in retail carts

Hey guys, is it possible to erase the ROM in a retail cart (meaning a store bought game like Pokemon Platinum) and load a different ROM into it?

Included page "signature:angelshalo" does not exist (create it now)

ROM stands for Read-only memory. So no it isn't possible.

Retail game cartridges are made by fairies and ancient sages, so as the others say, it's immposible to change the game inside. You can always swap the plastic cover though.
