Hey titen, what OS and browser are you using? Please post a screenshot too if possible (attach it to the post).
Thanks

I think I've fixed it, can you check again? You might need to refresh the page a couple of times first (F5).

Hey everyone, I'm hoping/looking for opinions from others as well, not just titen.
I've noticed that there are less anonymous posts since I've introduced the new system, so I'm hoping I haven't broken anything in IE6 or any of those ancient browsers, and people are unable to post at all.
Then again, due to the Team Cyclops forums being online again, that would explain a decline in the number of posts - it's probably the more likely reason.
And I will be working to get the signatures working on the new forum later today. Anyone that wants to edit their forum signature can do it from this page.

The new system looks nice; testing it out with this post.

Awesome :)
Seems I forgot all about the signatures. Will do it now.
Edit: Done. Though they look a bit out of place with the new design. Will have to think of a way to make them a bit more subtle / non-distracting …

As some of you may already know, the forum we have been using since 23 December 2009 (375 days ago) is a custom-built forum from the ground up! But, I'm getting ahead of myself here - let's cover some history first…
Our host is called Wikidot - they provide forums that can be used on sites such as Revolution, and that was what we were using when the website first launched back in June 2009.
Later, jameswalker85's website was temporarily used for our forums. He had phpBB forums, which were an upgrade from the ones we had been using … but due to them being on an external site it meant that we couldn't integrate forum posts with user profiles like we do now.
So, 23 December 2009 came along and we started using an early version of some forums that I built myself. What you have been using up until this day isn't quite the same thing, but the only major difference is the appearance. It still functions the same as it did back in 2009. You can look at your profile and you see a history of forum posts that you have made. Great!
But that's getting a bit aged, and now we're in a new year. It's 2011, and it's time for a change.
Thanks to some work by other respected people in the Wikidot community such as tsangk and bcammo, I've been able to integrate what they have done with my own work and have come up with a new type of forum.
So, what is different? I'm sure you notice a few of the major differences, but here's a run down:
Negatives:
Positives:
Post a reply here to test it out!
Note: Signatures are currently disabled on the new system, but I will re-enable them again soon!
