"There has been a save memory related error"

what can fix this?

I've re-posted it here so it's easier to discuss (and easier for people with the same problem to find in future)

Any ideas?

My questions:

  • When does this error occur? Is it when you try to start up the iEvo, or during a game?
  • Does the error prevent you from using the iEvo?
  • Have you installed the USA or EUR bootstrap?
  • Which firmware version are you using?
