Very soon I'm going to start spending some time upgrading features of this site, in particular I'll be looking at:

Compatibility list
- Allow anyone to easily modify game status

Skin gallery
- Allow you to add categories to your skins
- Overall better experience when uploading

User profile upgrades

Other small improvements

I like the sound of this! Quite a few Wikidot sites are being upgraded at the moment.

Hmm, that's probably because of the new cool features being implemented by the Wikidot team.

Something called the "set-tags button" was implemented a few weeks ago, which I intend to use for the compatibility list.

And a "link_to parameter" for one of the modules will help me for user profiles.

Skin category upgrades will mostly be me converting it to use data forms, which is what I'm using for the homebrew section at the moment. The biggest task there is converting all existing skins to use the new system. Or, maybe I'll keep those how they are but prevent editing of old skins, as I did with forum comments. That gives me the greatest flexibility.

The homebrew and games tasks are a bit simpler so I can do them later… this weekend I want to get some of the bigger tasks out of the way and done. Thanks for the reminder though!

I've decided against letting people add games to the list for now, because it's too easy to break the system - I'll look at ways of automating it, but in the meantime will update the list myself as often as possible.

You now have full control to edit any pages in the compatibility list though. Let me know if there are any problems! (permissions need to be changed, or something else)
