iEvo not working with DSi XL

I followed all of the directions to a t with the new firmware, but when I put in the card and select MechAssault I get the black screen error:
"An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi operations manual for help troubleshooting."
I reformatted the sd card in hopes that it would fix the problem, and then I went through the process again with new downloads to make sure there were no problems with my original downloads. However it keeps happening, and I'm close to losing my temper.

Any thoughts?

What firmware is you DSi on?? Thats probably the problem.

same thing happens to me it wont load on the dsi ether

same problem my is the 1.4.4 but still won work

Same here. Works on my DS but not DSi. Did the bootstrap twice. Hex edit to switch it to dsi mode. Still wont work.
