Modules are a bit like BBcodes. They can be added to your forum posts, and will also work in the chat room and other parts of the website.

Firmware

Description

Use this module to show a link to the most recent firmware.

Attributes

There are no attributes for this module.

Example

ImageHover

Description

Use this module to show a an image when you hover your mouse over some text.

Attributes

(optional) prepend

  • A line of text that appears before the text that has a hover effect on it

(required) text

  • The text that you want an image to appear for when the mouse hovers over it

(required) image

  • The image to appear when the text is hovered over
  • Can be either a full URL or a relative URL (e.g. "/pagename/image.png")

(optional) attributes

  • Allows you to set attributes for the image, such as height and width

(optional) append

  • A line of text that appears after the text that has a hover effect on it

Site cyclods does not allow cross-site includes.

Mp3 Player

Description

This module will let you add music to any page, including your profile page! You can set it to play automatically as soon as someone opens the page, or you can let them press the play button first.

Attributes

(required) URL

  • Use this attribute to give the module the location of the mp3 file

(optional) autoplay

  • If you want it to autoplay when someone enters the page, use autoplay=yes or autoplay=true
  • If you don't want it to automatically play, don't use the attribute

Example

or without auto-play:

Skins

Description

Use this module to list someone's skins in your thread.

Attributes

(required) author

  • The name of anyone that has uploaded at least one skin to Revolution

Example

[[include m:skins |author=MrMicx ]]

Spoilers

Description

When you hover the mouse over the spoiler button, the box will expand to show the hidden text. If the text doesn't fit in the 200px-high box, a scrollbar will be added automatically. The spoiler module does not work properly with the post preview function.

Attributes

(required) text

  • Any plain text that you would like to hide in the spoiler box
  • Cannot use Wikidot syntax
  • Cannot use the pipe symbol "|"

I just added the ImageHover module to the site, and to this list. This was the module that won me the Wikidot Pro Account Subscription that I am giving away!
